About Me
I am extremely lucky that in my life I’ve been able to achieve most of all I ever dreamed of. Not always in the way I’d expected or at the time I first wished it would happen……
My professional career began in 1987 studying full time at Monash University and working part time for three years to qualify as a Registered Nurse in 1990 when I Joined the RAAF at 42 years of age; One of the oldest junior nursing officers in Australia! Had to learn how to abseil, rock climb, fire a rifle, pistol and escape being gassed……..
A lifelong curiosity regarding hypnotherapy led to study and completion of a Diploma in Hypnotherapy (2004). I celebrated my 60th year receiving a Master of Nursing in Mental Health at Monash University (2008).
My passion now is to share with you some of the lessons in life I have learned using practical skills and theoretical knowledge gained through my studies. I will work with you at a subconscious level to allow you to access your subconscious mind that knows everything about you; at this level you will discover how it is possible for you to heal past hurts, release emotions that stop you from achieving your goals. Whether you need more confidence, less anxiety, to feel healthy and fit again after giving up smoking or losing weight, wake up in the morning refreshed from a good night’s sleep I can assist you.
My name is Chris Taplin; I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Credentialed Mental Health Nurse and Counsellor, it’s been a long journey but I’ve arrived and you can too!
